MINI Cooper mania is HUGE at the Aloha Tower Marketplace Car show & Toy drive
MINI of Hawaii will have its 3rd Annual MINI Cooper car show at the Aloha Tower Marketplace on Sunday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cars will be parked along the Boat Days Promenade at the base of Aloha Tower, and the public will be able to talk to the various MINI owners.
The cost of entering your car is the same as the cost of admission; ITS FREE! Come join the fun! Show off your MINI and all of it “youifications”!
Among the guests and activities will be:
- Miss Hawaii 2008, Nicole Fox, will be a part of the festivities.
- Artist Niles Nakaoka will unveil his newest MINI painting. Nakaoka, a member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS), is a contributing artist for Road and Track magazine and has appeared in several magazines like Racer, Championship Racing, and Cavallino. - Artist Chad Morisato will create a custom roof graphic. Morisato’s mission is to create a piece that when displayed, draws out the true personality of the space it occupies. New toy donations are requested of all who enter their car or visit the Car Show to support the Annual Holiday Toy Drive sponsored by MINI of Hawaii and the Hawaii MINI Motoring Club. Every year, we provide holiday gifts for homeless children here on Oahu. Last year, MINI owners and enthusiasts collected 345 toys, which were later distributed. This year, the need is even greater.
